Starting in 1964 and through 1978, my dad used his Super 8 film camera to record family moments. Birthdays, holidays, vacations, and more were are captured on film. The film reels were digitized and I edited the recordings into vignetters.
Amazing, there is a film recording from 1939 that is in color.
Also included are many videos of Al Moore and Glenna Moore telling stories. These videos were recorded from 2006 through 2022. Another video shares memories of Marty Moore from four of her childhood friends.

The Summer of ’62
As an anniversary gift to Glenna, Al wrote her a poem titled, The Summer of ’62. The poem traces their shared life together starting with their marriage in the summer of 1962. Occasionally, Al would update the poem with new life happenings. The last update was in 2012, when Al revisited the poem to mark Glenna’s passing. This is a treasured family poem.
An earlier version of the poem/video was played at Glenna’s funeral on July 31, 2007. ALS robbed Glenna’s voice so it had been well over a year since people had heard her voice. When the narration started, there was an audible gasp from the funeral attendees.
